Uniquely Knit Life Charitable Trust is a 501(c)(3) private foundation focused on community arts & culture. We bring people together through knitting and fiber crafts, spreading warmth and a sense of belonging across Boca Raton, Florida.

Upcoming & recent highlights

Knit & Connect Day — Boca Raton 2025 (Completed)

Date: 21/09/2025 • Venue: Boca Raton Community Center

Program: Open craft space with three dedicated zones:

First Stitches area for newcomers with one-on-one guidance.
Open Knitting zone for experienced makers to collaborate.
Share & Connect corner to swap yarn, patterns, and personal stories.

Outcomes: 85 attendees across ages; 120 handmade items (scarves, hats, small blankets) completed and routed to Shelter Palm Beach for early October donations; five ongoing volunteer knitting groups formed for monthly meetups.

Cozy Fall 2025 — Share & Stitch (Upcoming)

When: 26/10/2025 • Where: Boca Raton Library — Main Hall

Planned schedule:

Kickoff workshop “First Stitches” for absolute beginners.
Kid’s creative nook for simple yarn crafts (pom-poms, rings).
60-Minute Stitch Challenge to craft a complete item in teams.
Donation corner to collect yarn, needles, and accessories.
Story-sharing session on how making impacts wellbeing.

Goals: 100+ attendees; at least 150 handmade items for families in need this winter; build a steady volunteer network for quarterly events.
